Ironstone Stratocaster Range:

Stratocaster guitar pickups from Ironstone. Featuring Alnico V magnets and available in 4 styles:

Silver grade – Classic rock tones:
particularly suited to playing that emphasizes warm, Blues or ‘rock’ styles but with the added grunt of the higher Bridge output when you want it.

Gold grade – Clean 60's & Shadows tones:
designed to give especially clean warm tones, so great for playing that aims to capture those vintage classic Blues or ‘clean’ styles.

Platinum Grade – High output rock + good Cleans:
featuring hotter pickups in the middle and neck and a real spanking hot rod in the bridge position. Particularly suited to playing styles that emphasize gritty higher output Classic Rock or dirty Blues tones.

Hybrid Grade – 'The sound of an Era’:
designed to capture the tones of the Fender late 60's early 70's Strat era, with vintage style pole piece stagger and 43 AWG windings (as the Texas Specials). A very meaty pickups set with great sensitivity, think Hendrix, Gallagher and Trower.

These are all available with white, cream or black covers and come complete with all mounting hardware. Replacement covers are also available at Stratocaster pickup covers.

Ironstone Telecasters:

Telecaster guitar pickups from Ironstone giving classic warm vintage tone, with that unmistakable Tele 'Twang'. As with all of the range, the Ironstone pickups for Telecasters are based on Alnico magnet pole pieces. Aimed at the early 50’s and 60’s Tele tones, these feature the original specification of 42AWG windings for the bridge and 43AWG neck, the bridge pickup also featuring a rose copper backing plate.

The tone is not so much an artist as an era! Think a wide range of classic 50’s &  60’s musical styles, everything from rock to blues, jazz to country.

Alnico V (Bridge) & Alnico III (Neck) pickups, available as bridge, neck or sets (or with a Humbucker in place of a conventional Telecasters neck pickup). All pickups supplied complete with full mounting hardware.

Ironstone Humbuckers:

Stunning PAF style 4 wire Humbuckers. High output 15.5K , open-frame Alnico V pickups available individually or as a set.

These Alnico V humbuckers feature 4 wire configuration for full coil tapping, phase changing etc, as well as 6 adjustable pole screws per pickup. They are supplied complete with black mounting rings as well as all required springs and mounting screws.

Smooth dark Alnico V tones with an ocean of bottom and great attack when played through pedals / valve amps. They are also particularly responsive to height, tilt and pole piece adjustments to further enhance tone.  And if you are looking for an HSH pickup set, that is also available as an option.

Ironstone Jazz Bass Pickups:

These Jazz Bass pickups are Ironstone's first bass guitar product. These are 'old school' construction, with fibre bobbins, Alnico V magnets and vintage push-back wiring.

The result is a warm vintage sound as you would expect, but with the 7.3K bridge and 7.1K neck delivering a clarity of tone that balances rich full bass with crisp treble detail.

Telecaster 5 way Set:

Complimenting the Ironstone Tele pickups, the Telecaster 5 way set consists of a pair of Ironstone pickups and a custom wired 5 way switching Tele control plate. This allows the normal 3 pickup selection plus series configuration and a simulated 'out of phase' mode. More tones than you thought were possible from a pair of Telecaster pickups, in a complete Telecaster solution that can be dropped into your guitar with minimal effort!

The Telecaster 5 way control plate is hand wired, using high quality components, including a Strat style 5 way lever switch to expand the normal Telecaster tones, and a Sprague ‘Orange Drop’ 33nF tone capacitor.

Treble Bleed and Gibson ‘Vintage 50’s’ tone control mods complete the attention to detail.

Suitable for use with Ironstone or any other pickup system, this guitar pre-amp / multi overdrive effects PCB is designed for on-board installation, giving 4 stages of switchable gain and true bypass. Powered by a standard PP3 9V battery giving between 1000-2000 hours of use, the unit mounts through a 9mm diameter body or scratchplate hole.
